Football Tipping for Thinking English Soccer Fans - Round 5

I like to think of this Newsvine English Premier League Tipping Contest as a thinking person's tipping contest because it requires entrants to assign a probability about their selection winning.

If I was conducting this on my own site I would get you to put entries directly in to a database but I don't think I can do that on Newsvine. Hence the need to copy the weekly list of games below and paste them in to the comments section.

Then add to each game your assessment of the probability of the home team (the first named team, not the second one as American football followers are probably used to) winning. The number must be between 0.001 and 0.999 because 1 and 0 can lead, when the calculations are done, to an answer of infinity if wrong .

You can get the idea by looking at my entry below although you should be warned that following my probabilities in the first four rounds would have seen you finishing last!

I am living in hope for a better performance this weekend.

Bolton v Everton BOLTON winning chance 0.
Fulham v Tottenham FULHAM winning chance 0.
Middlesbrough v Birmingham MIDDLESBROUGH winning chance 0.
Liverpool v Derby County LIVERPOOL winning chance 0.
Newcastle v Wigan Athletic NEWCASTLE winning chance 0.
Reading v West Ham READING winning chance 0.
Man Utd v Sunderland MAN UTD winning chance 0.
Arsenal v Portsmouth ARSENAL winning chance 0.
Blackburn v Man City BLACKBURN winning chance 0.
Aston Villa v Chelsea ASTON VILLA winning chance 0.

For further details of this probability based tipping contest see
probability based sports tipping on my website.
