Call it luck if you like but yours truly has regained his love of English football. The round 5 English Premier League Bragging Rights have gone to ... drum roll please ... Richard Farmer. After four weeks of humiliation at last a victory. And most importantly more points than the son who is trouncing him in an orthodox Fantasy League competition.
And, I have to admit, the victory was a little hollow because our Newsvine entries were disappointingly down this week. I had fewer people to beat. Perhaps the realisation that an old fellow who really knows nothing about soccer can be a winner will encourage others to enter our next contest.
