A teenage girl in Xianyang, Shaanxi province, cut off the cable of her parents' computer because she felt neglected.

The girl said her parents were addicted to an online game called "Happy Farm", and were always on the computer whenever they were home.

The girl's parents, who said they had no clue they were ignoring their daughter, have vowed to stop playing the game.

Happy Farm? Sounds like something out of the Cultural Revolution.

Eggplants and tomatos? At Least, Ma and Pa aren't blowing away zombie dorks right and left.

Cutting the cable? I don't know what 'household voltage' is in China, and I'm afraid to find out.

Addiction? Help! I think I'm getting addicted to Newsvine!

      You too? LOL

Well... They say when life gives you lemons... Wait. I think she just said f*** the lemons and traded them in for some yummy strawberries and chocolate using some good ole fashioned force. Kiddos get attention one way or another. I can't say I blame her too much though. I have had similar thoughts of hiding video games when my husband gets a new one. Maybe that's why I check newsvine everyday. Hmmmm... I might ought to think on that one.
