There is still a high demand for prostitutes in Malaysia — if official figures on the arrests of foreign call girls are any indication.

And one of the reasons for this steady demand is apparently busy, career-chasing wives.

Women's Aid Organisation vice-president Vicky Alahakone said in some cases, the wives were partly to blame for their men straying as they had unwittingly "abandoned" their husbands while trying to juggle careers and the household.

"Some husbands seek prostitutes to escape the dreariness of their daily lives by injecting some excitement into their mundane routines.

"It's like going out for dinner and having an exotic meal. Then, feeling full and satiated, they go home to the wife and kids.

Muslim country. Women get the blame. Where's the news in that?

“Some husbands seek prostitutes to escape the dreariness of their daily lives by injecting some excitement into their mundane routines.

Sounds like the excuse used in EVERY country for husbands "straying." What women have to do is decide whether they will solve the problem using the Elin Nordegren or the Lorena Bobbit method.

Do you think Tiger Woods could describe his life as dreary and mundane?

I said, "excuse," not "reason." I've found that no matter what people have, they always long for either something more or for something different. I'm really surprised at Tiger Woods. Now, I'll have to find another role model. They are nearly an endangered species these days.

Every imagination of the thoughs of mans heart is only evil continually so without Christ a man will follow his carnal desires. Phillipians 4:13, " I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."

After a good roll in the hay, I find myself stronger and fresher, does this mean that Christ's incouraging me to have sexually relations?

There are going to be problems in any and all relationships. That is just reality. The true test is how those problems are dealt with. If a guy is not happy with his sex life with his wife, then he should tell her, but she should also listen and understand that he is bringing his problems to her. Then, they should work through them together.

I know couples that the wife would tell the husband that those were his problems. I feel in that case that she should have instead communicated her own issues to him.

Maybe some of those husbands should start trying to help out around the house with those chores, and then there would be time for the "bedroom" fun.

The complaint was that the wife was working.

In some cases the wives were to blame? Some not? Wow, great insight!

I wouldn't read too much into this article about Malaysian customs, after all, they are Malaysian and they have different customs and moral standards than us.

This doesn’t mean the ladies won’t have a nice 9-iron waiting for their husbands or that it doesn’t hurt them, just means it is a different place.

I do understand that it is a different culture, but I do know that a woman is a woman, and not very many women like their husbands out with other women, especially if they are sexually involved.
