Australian Muslim cleric calls for beheading of a politician

An Australian Muslim cleric has emerged with a dramatic cameo role in the continuing negotiations to form a Coalition Government in the Netherlands that have been going on since the country's election of 9 June. Radio Netherlands Worldwide reports that the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf in a front-page story gives details of the latest death threat to the anti-Islam leader Geert Wilders whose PVV party is involved in the Coalition negotiations.

Radio Netherlands says Australian "Jihad ideologist and preacher" Feiz Muhammad has made a video announcement in which he says Mr Wilders should be beheaded.

"We see the satanic filth of people like that filthy Dutch politician. Anyone who mocks our teaching...has to be killed, behead him."

And if all the drama in the political corridors of The Hague - the Dutch centre of government - hadn't already left Mr Wilders reeling, it seems this threat has "shocked" him; he has consulted with the national anti-terrorism department.

The Muslim extremist's call to kill was voiced during a series of lectures in a special chat room for Muslim extremists. More than half of those virtually present were Dutch, De Telegraaf points out. You can listen to the Jihad preacher's speech on the Telegraaf website.

The reports I have seen do not indicate where Feiz Muhammad was located when he made his comments.

Bleh, just another moron, plenty of stupidity in all religions to go around. There are some Christians calling for the death of Muslims and Obama, some Jewish rabbis calling for the death of gentils, and some Muslims calling for the death of non-Muslims. I don't see a difference between any of the radicals in their religions.

The main religion islam, is the only one since History to the Present day causing violence, suicide bombers, bombs, intolerance, hate, convert or die, slowly creep into every country and impose their "rights" in that country when they offer No Rights to anyone else who is'nt of islam. Historically more Terrorists around the World than any other Religion.

Well, there is the Catholic vs. Protestant "Troubles" in Northern Ireland that while much more contained nowadays than it was previously is still going on. That has resulted in a lot of death and destruction. In fact, the IRA perfected the car bomb as a terrorism device.

As well, "convert or die" was the method used by Spanish Catholics during the Inquisition, for those who were able to withstand the torture.

It is often argued that the fundamentalist fanatics in Islam are a small minority, but the problem is that when the clerics are fundamentalist fanatics, their ideology is preached and followed by many. There are of course many moderate and educated Muslims, but then so many are not and their education is limited to the Qu'oran and the preachings of their Imams.

Those wacky Muslims and their calls for beheading.

Can someone remind us how Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance again?

Fair dinkum... what a bonza idea. It's the Australian way. You'll never know unless you give it a burl. By all means put the idea out there in order to gauge the reaction. You never know... i'd bet you if they held a referendum most Australians would vote yes for the R.H. Feiz Mohammed's proposal. In a show of bilateral international co-operation and goodwill they could reciprocate with the beheading of an aussie polly. Preferably one that's proven to be useless ie Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard or Wayne Swan.
