Music soothes the soul. My Vet has a huge boarding kennel in a separate building and plays music 24/7 for the dogs. As I walk back through it even catches my ear above the greeting barks. When I'm away and my Chows are there it warms my heart to know they are hearing the sweet classics.
Also in my travels with my son and now grandchildren I was always playing 60's music. Peter, Paul and Mary "Puff the Magic the Dragon" etc always made them tune in and want top learn. Jabbering children voices soon changed to sweet melody.
